Artwork
Getting your file right.
Ninety percent of disappointing prints are decided before the file reaches us. Here's what we need.
Format
PNG with a transparent background is ideal. TIFF is fine too. We do not take PDF yet — export a PNG at the size you need. JPEG works, but it can't hold transparency, so anything that isn't meant to print must be removed first.
Resolution
300 dpi at the size you want it printed. Our builder checks this for you and warns you if a file won't hold up.
Transparency
If your design has a white background, that white will print. Our preview shows you exactly what will come out, so check it.
Colour
Send us sRGB. We'll convert CMYK, but you'll have less control over the result.
Fine detail
Lines below roughly 0.5 mm and text below roughly 6 pt get unreliable. Scale up or thicken.
Mirroring
Do not mirror the file. Send it the way the print should read on the garment — mirroring happens on our side.
White-only art
Artwork that is only white is fine. It barely shows in the preview, but the machine prints it correctly — no background needed.
Checklist
- Transparent background, not a white box
- 300 dpi at final print size
- sRGB, not a random display profile
- No hairline strokes under 0.5 mm
- Text outlined or at least 6 pt
- One design per file is easier to size
- Not mirrored — send it as it should read
