How to press.

These are the settings we run in the shop. If your press is calibrated differently, start here and adjust by 5 °C, not by guesswork.

  1. 01

    Preheat the garment

2–3 seconds to drive off moisture. A wet shirt is the most common cause of a weak press.

  2. 02

    Place the transfer

Film on top, printed side down onto the garment. Cover with parchment or a Teflon sheet.

  3. 03

    Press

150 °C, 15 seconds, medium-firm pressure. Even pressure matters more than more pressure.

  4. 04

    Peel

Cold peel — let it drop below warm before you pull.. Wait the couple of seconds the film needs. Do not rip.

  5. 05

    Second press (optional)

5 seconds under parchment after peel. Flattens the hand and locks the edge.

  6. 06

    Wash

Inside out, up to 40 °C, no softener. Tested past 50 cycles on cotton and 50/50.

Settings are shop defaults pending client confirmation of the press test.
